  • Explosion at FALK company - Milwaukee, WI

I don't know how far away everyone may have seen this in the headlines, but there was a HUGE EXPLOSION in Milwaukee, Wisconsin yesterday at 8:07 am.  From what I've heard and seen, a propane tank had a leak, an employee smelt something and just felt something wasn't right and started evaculating and shortely after the explosion happened.  It was felt for miles and even damaged nearby businesses and homes.  There are over 700 employees,  around 47 people injured, 2 critical and 3 lost there lives.  Our hearts and prayers go out to the familys and I truely pray that all the injured recover quickly. My husband was only 10 blocks away when this happened. Its pretty darn scarey when you think about it. Please keep the families in your hearts and prayers.  Our hearts go out to everyone involved in this horrible accident.  Cathy Ann   You can view more detail here at the news station. http://www.themilwaukeechannel.com/index.html

  • I saw that!  Last night our party was at the old flour mill and they were explaining how in 1879 there was a huge explosion that was felt for 30 miles away.  It was during the midnight shift so only 16 people were working (all died) plus several people died that were in nearby buildings and it also demolished some neraby buildings.  Explosions are really crazy things!

  • Oh so sad!  Sorry I haven't been over in a while.  I am behind on everyone's xanga equally.  I will try and catch up.  Thanks for always stopping by mine.

Take care and have a wonderful Holiday!
